VIRGO
COLOURS
PINK AND WHITE: The white depicts the clarity, purity and meticulous nature of Virgo. The Pink is the humble and pure side, but being the higher ray of the Red carries energies of both industrious, resistance coupled with healing of negativity.
SYMBOLS
The Hand: This is the hand of alchemy, the great Healing capacity of Virgo, once they surrender to the subtle spiritual side of the soul life. Virgo, a Mutable Earth sign, and ruled by Mercury, the main energy is that of Discrimination. Mercury is known as King of the Gods, the Light Messenger.
The energy of Virgo is that of knowledge. His vast library of books are based on proving the Universe and God are orderly and can be analysed. Health is important to Virgo, and much of their study is to do with purification of the psyche, understanding all the stages of individual development and holding onto himself. He can be "tight fisted", which is the shadow side of a rather innate extravagance. Virgo has intense discrimination, which can be cynical.
YOD In Hebrew Yod means hand. With his hand man takes and appropriates everything which surrounds him. Yod with Virgo is the helping Virgo to remember his unique individuality which is separate from the whole, and yet on the inner realms is the whole.
Virgo is all about identifying himself with the outside world, and yet not forgetting his inner vision.
The Temple:The temple of both knowledge and healing. Virgo has had many cycles of life gathering information which has both developed the mind and the psyche.
Kwan Yin: A spiritual diety, who offers encouragement back to the spiritual path, and is an alchemist in her own right.
Peacock: A very self possessed bird, with the many eyes in the tail feathers, depicting the intense psychic discrimination and analytical ability of Virgo. Also a bird of royalty.
